16th February 2006 Windsurfing: Golf Course Car park, Ynyslas Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 16-20 knots Surf / Sea State: 3-4 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 10ºC Sea Temperature: 8ºC Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: Not quite enough wind to start with, even for my big kit so I was lucky to get out the back on my first run without getting munched. Once out there decided to stay out there where the wind was a little better and there were no breaking waves to get me! Went in too far on one run though and then had trouble getting back out. Thankfully the wind filled in better after that and I had a good session nicely powered up with some nice wave rides on the way back in. It was all a bit too hot in the sunshine though. More wind would have been nice so that I could have used my smaller kit, but it was good to get back on the water after such a long time. |
